Relationship of Heavy Metals in Muscle Tissues with Total Length and Weight of Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1782) From Tigris River (Turkey)

The levels of some heavy metals in muscle tissues (As, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu and Cd) Carassius gibelio collected from the Tigris River were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS/MS). All fish determined. highest metal concentration tissue was found to be lowest Co. In regard size there remarkable positive negative relationships. There no gender differences terms accumulation (p>0.05). obtained results this study lower than limits for which proposed by WHO, FAO, EPA TFC.
